LOS ANGELES (AP) — Kiki Rice had 15 points, Emily Bessoir added 14 and fourth-seeded UCLA rolled to a 67-45 victory over No. 13 seed Sacramento State in the first round of the NCAA Tournament. Charisma Osborne had 11 points, 12 rebounds and five assists for the Bruins, who will face fifth-seeded Oklahoma on Monday with the winner advancing to the Greenville 1 Regional. Isnelle Natabou had 16 points and eight rebounds for Sacramento State. Kahlaijah Dean scored 11, but was 3 of 19 from the field.
DURHAM, N.C. (AP) — Frida Formann scored 21 points and Colorado unleashed a torrid 3-point shooting display to roll past Middle Tennessee 82-60 in the NCAA Tournament’s first round Saturday night. Jaylyn Sherrod added 13 points and Aaronette Vonleh had 11 points for the Buffaloes, who made 13 shots from beyond the 3-point arc. Seven Colorado players made at least one 3, led by Formann’s 5-for-8 effort. Colorado, which will be in the second round for the first time since 2003, meets host Duke on Monday. Anastasiia Boldyreva’s 16 points, Savannah Wheeler’s 15 points and Kseniya Malashka’s 13 points led Middle Tennessee, which had won 10 in a row.
VILLANOVA, Pa. (AP) — Maddie Antenucci hit three straight 3-pointers that burst the game open and sent 12th-seeded Florida Gulf Coast into the second round of the NCAA Tournament with a 74-63 win Saturday over No. 5-seed Washington State. Sha Carter scored 24 points and Tishara Moorehouse had 16 for the Golden Eagles. FGCU will play the winner of Saturday’s late game between fourth-seeded Villanova and No. 13 seed Cleveland State at the Wildcats’ on-campus arena, the Pavilion. Tara Wallack led the Cougars with 16 points

COLLEGE PARK, Md. (AP) — Maryland coach Brenda Frese faces her alma mater Sunday when the Terrapins host Arizona in the second round of the NCAA Tournament. Frese played at Arizona and earned a communications degree there 30 years ago. The Terps are trying for their 11th Sweet 16 appearance under Frese and third in a row. To accomplish that, they’ll have to beat an Arizona team that made it all the way to the national title game two years ago. The Wildcats are coached by Adia Barnes. She's another Arizona alum, graduating five years after Frese.
SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — Princeton is facing Utah for a shot at reaching the Sweet 16 thanks to a tough defense. The Utes have also seen major success this season after making defensive strides.
TULSA, Okla. (AP) — Cornell’s Yianni Diakomihalis became the fifth Division I wrestler to win four national titles and Penn State won its 10th team title in 12 years on Saturday at the NCAA Division I wrestling championships, with former President Donald Trump in attendance for the evening session. Diakomihalis defeated Ohio State’s Sammy Sasso 4-2 in the 149-pound final. He joined Kyle Dake, Pat Smith, Logan Stieber and Cael Sanderson — Penn State’s coach — as the only four-time champions ever in Division I. Penn State ran away with the team title, mathematically clinching before the evening session began. The Nittany Lions scored 137.5 points. Iowa finished second with 82.5 points and Cornell placed third with 76.5.
