FROST — Turnovers, along with an injury to key sophomore running back Sam Stroder, were among the many contributing factors to Frost’s second straight 56-0 loss.

“We shot ourselves in the foot”, coach Jerry Baldridge said of his offense after their 5 turnovers in the first half. “You can’t make mistakes like that against a good team like that.”

Mistakes were the story of the night for the Polar Bears.

Bosqueville got things started early, with senior wideout Arthur Weaver catching a 13-yard touchdown pass from Daniel Jones, and they would reconnect for the two-point conversion. Weaver then recovered a Frost fumble, which he took back 33 yards for a touchdown, with the extra point coming from Cap Perry. Weaver would finish the night with four catches for 24 yards and a touchdown, and one fumble recovery for a touchdown. Bosqueville would end the half with a commanding 35-0 lead.

Senior running back Daryl Harter had three touchdowns, one receiving and two rushing. Harter would finish the night with 51 yards rushing and 31 yards receiving. Senior quarterback Daniel Jones also contributed a touchdown on a 20-yard run, with the extra point by Perry. Miles Adanandus scored once on a 4-yard run, but the extra point by Perry fell short. Jeremy Butts caught an 11-yard pass from Jones for a touchdown, and Perry again added the extra point.

Daniel Jones completed 10-of-15 passes for 99 yards, and rushed for 38 yards in nine attempts. Sophomore running back David Johnson gained 79 yards on six attempts, and Miles Adanandus finished the game with 114 yards on 13 attempts.

A relatively laundry-free game, Frost had two penalties for 20 yards, while Bosqueville had no penalties. An injury to Frost sophomore running back Sam Stroder in the third quarter took any life that was left on the Frost sideline away, as he was carried off the field on a stretcher. He spent the rest of the game on the sideline with ice wrapped around his knee.

Bosqueville sophomore quarterback Blaze Blackburn would come into the game in the fourth quarter to finish things off, which was exactly what he would do, as they would score 14 points to make the final 56-0.

Frost mentionables include sophomore running back Sam Stroder, who carried the ball 12 times for 39 yards before getting injured, freshman running back J.T. Driver, who had three carries for 14 yards, senior running back Jason Florence with 11 yards on five carries, and senior quarterback Chris Elmore, who completed 4-of-10 passes with one interception.
